You are less than 1-1.5 miles away from Palm Tree Golf course off Country Club Blvd, and about 3-3.5 miles from the small beach found in the Yacht & Country Club. They also have tennis and bike paths all the way into the Country Club area. You are also only 20 miles away from Sanibel Island and Fort Myers Beaches (The large beaches) by car. Now if you go by boat you get there faster because by car you have to drive all the way out of the Cape Coral to get there.

You can visit Useppa Island, Gasparilla, the Sanibel and Captiva Islands, Fort Myers Beaches, etc.

Look at the Links, Useppa is beautiful, or you can fish the Boca Grande cut for Tarpon, however Tarpon season is April & May. Last year at the end of April we pulled a few large/oversize Tarpons out of Boca Grande. It was great!

There are bicycle paths all throughout all the way into the Yacht Club area where you can play at a little beach they have there, play tennis, basketball and a many other activities.

Questions people ask/answers: There are no locks or small bridges to get out to the Gulf; we have direct sailboat ocean access.

The only bridge you have to go underneath is the Cape Coral Parkway Bridge, and this bridge is probably over 150 feet high, so the tallest boats can travel underneath it without any concerns.

You really can't tell from the pictures, but our canal is a 250 foot wide canal (dolphins and manatees hang out in it) and you are literally less than 5-minutes from the river and 25-minutes from the Gulf.

We both had an absolutely fabulous time at your vacation rental. It was great to be in such a peaceful oasis and calm setting without the crowded and fast paced atmosphere that often comes with staying at a hotel. There was such serene quiet and peace in the morning, looking out the back windows with the rising sun casting its colors elegantly over the picturesque canal. The house is spacious and comfortable with its large bedrooms, bathrooms and closets. The fully stocked kitchen was great for fixing breakfast or a quick snack.

We really enjoyed all the amenities that came with this rental. We had a blast bike riding one afternoon and we had a great time fishing with the fishing rods that were all set up and waiting to be used. The ping pong table was a big hit. The gorgeous pool and waterfront view just topped it all off! The house itself offers so much to do; there was no need to leave! When we did venture out, we saw how close we were to the state park which offers bike trails, walking trails, lots of nature, canoeing, etc. Aside for that we also enjoyed great shopping plazas just 5 minutes away. After being out all day it was great to have a comfortable place to relax which was quiet and private.

It was also great to know how close we were to Ft. Myers, Sanibel Island and Naples and not even too far from Miami and Orlando.

You were really easy to work with and very accommodating to our needs. We'd rate this vacation with 10 stars and would not hesitate to return on our next trip to Florida.
