Resident birds include Ernie, a friendly Snowy Egret; Henry, a stately great egret; "Willie, the Willet" and relatives; the "Coffee Klatsch" of white ibises (some of whom are not white at all; the youngsters are brownish-black); a mixed flock of Royal and Sandwich Terns; numerous "peeps", and lots of pelican "fly-overs." Dolphins, too, drop by on occasion.

"Ding" Darling Wildlife Refuge; learn about wildlife-rescue at C.R.O.W.'s new Visitors' Center; attend a concert at BigArts; see a play at the Schoolhouse Theater, or a movie at the Bailey's Plaza theater; attend a lecture or learn Shell Craft at the Community Center.
