Locally, you can comb the beach, rent a jet-ski and 4x4, take surf lessons, play 18 holes, ride a horse through tropical dry forest, get a massage, take a sunset sail or dine at one of several wonderful restaurants. Leave Coronado, and you are within an hour of the capitol, the canal and national rain forest. A two-hour drive will take you to the Atlantic side of Panama and venturing a bit further you can explore the lush highlands.
