Built in a domain position as a watchtower, guarding the surrounding territory, it boasts a 360 degree panoramic that it has been used from ancient times as a site for look-out, and therefore of defence. The tower carefully restored, and extended over time, offers one of the most suggestive sojourns on the Amalfi Coast, in an atmosphere of bygone times. It is furnished with antique pieces, some of them extremely precious. From the terraces and from almost all the rooms there are enchanting panoramic views over Positano and the sea. The well-tended outdoor areas comprise a garden with a fully-equipped loggia, the ideal spot for conviviality and relaxing. On the ground floor is the large lounge with its characteristic sail vault and splendid view, and a dining-room decorated with ancient majolica tiles and featuring a large fireplace.

The villa consists of 4 levels: Ground Floor, when you enter you have a sunny living with fireplace, small toilette which you access from a small outdoor terrace. Lower Level, you find the dining room with fireplace, a large and well equipped kitchen with 2 ovens, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, laundry room and a small bathroom with shower. First Floor, with a small lounge that is a passageway from where you access a 1 double bedroom, 2 double bedrooms, 1 bathroom with bath. On the second Floor, you have a large suite with double bedroom and lounge area, 1 large bathroom with bath and double washbasin and room with sanitary fixtures and separate shower, and a the end a nice and equipped panoramic terrace with a wonderful view of Positano and ocean. Outdoor: there is a lovely garden with tables and chairs for outside meal.
The villa is very wide and fresh, even if there isn't air condition, as the ceiling is very high with dome that creates a natural air condition.

The villa is situated in an area where there are no noises and where you will taste the authentic local life of the Positano. Just 2 minutes walking from the villa there is a good furnished market where you can buy everything you need, milk, bread, wines, fruits etc, while 5 minutes walking you find a lovely restaurant where taste the typical cuisine of Amalfi Coast, with fresh fishes.
The villa is on the road level, with no stairs to reach it, and it has a car park for one car.
Villa La Torre is an ideal place to stay for anyone who desires a relaxing holiday in contact with nature in an area with only few tourists but at the same time who wants to be near the places of high tourist interest, such as Amalfi, Sorrento, Capri and Pompei that can be easily reached by bus or ferry boats
