The Oak Bay Getaway is located on Oak Bay on the eastern shore of the fabulous Olympic Peninsula in Port Hadlock, Washington between Port Ludlow and Port Townsend. It has two king size beds and one queen. There is a also a pull out sofa. This vacation home was built in 1996 and located near multiple recreational and tourist activities. It sits on an acre of beach front property. From the greatroom, the master bedroom, or the front deck, you can watch the herons feed at low tide, or a pair of local eagles soar overhead. Ships pass through Puget Sound between the sea and Seattle a mile off shore.

Shopping in Historical Port Townsend, Hike at Hurricane Ridge in the Olympic mountains, Take the ferry from Port Angeles to Victoria BC, Visit the Hoh Rain Forest, Take a boat trip from Port Townsend to see the Orcas whales, Port Ludlow golf course, Rent a kayak or take a kayak lesson, Crab right on the beach in front of the house, Have a fire on the beach. The Olympic Peninsula is just bounding with places to see. Historical Port Townsend is 20 minutes drive and Port Angeles is an hour and 15 minutes drive from your vacation home. From Port Angles, drive up to Hurricane Ridge high in the Olympic mountains looking north across the Strait of Juan de Fuca at Vancouver Island, Canada and Canadian city of Victory. Take the ferry from Port Angeles across the Strait of Juan de Fuca to Victoria, BC. In the spring, summer and fall, visit the famous Buchart Gardens in Victoria or have high tea at the Empress Hotel. If you want to make a several day trip, continue on to Vancouver via Canadian ferry system, then drive south back to the United States and south on Whidby Island and return on the ferry to Port Townsend. The unique Hoh Rain Forest which experiences the greatest rainfall in the United States is located on the western shore of the Olympic peninsula. Don't worry, that's on the other side of the mountains, yet only two and a half hours away. The Getaway is located on the drier side of the mountains. Or if your fancy suits you, take a boat trip from Port Townsend, Victory or San Juan Island to see the Orcas whales play in the sound.

Additional Price Information:
We accept weekly rentals from June through September, our peak season. We accept nightly rentals from October through May with a minimum 2 night stay for $375. A three night stay in off season is $475. There is an additional fee of $25 dollars per night for each guest above 4. We require a $500 damage deposit. To confirm your reservation we require a deposit of half the rental fee and a signed reservation agreement. For stays less than a week there is also a $50 cleaning fee. Prices are not guarenteed and are subject to change.
