Dakota is our beautiful 2 bedroom cabin, perfect for a couple or small family. The living room has color/cable/TV/VCR. There are videos and games for your personal use. There is a beautiful floor to ceiling fireplace. The kitchen is equipped with all the amenities. There is also a phone, your 800 credit card will work for long distance calls. The master bedroom has a queen size bed. The second bedroom has two twin beds that will make into a king. Both bedrooms have pillows and blankets. You will need to bring your own sheets and towels. There is a patio door leading to a 20x20 redwood deck with Adirondack chairs and BBQ. Within walking distance there is a market, video store, and several restaurants. The owners frequently inspect the cabin to make sure it is clean and properly maintained.

You can see the stars and moon at night throught the pine trees.Big Bear Lake is Southern California's vacation spot, with its own natural beauty, clean mountain air and a 4 season recreation area. It is a wonderful spot for a weekend getaway or long relaxing vacation. Big Bear Lake has an exciting list of activities such as boating, water skiing, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, golfing, tennis, and snowboarding. Also, check out the great restaurants, sports bars and of course, shopping! Big Bear Lake also has a wonderful zoo, children's petting zoo and a solar observatory for you star gazers. The Discovery Center is a great source of activities, such as tours, hiking and biking trails and the annual bald eagle count.
