The Sand Shack is not just a place, it is an attitude. There are windows the length of the unit as well as the sliders that open onto a porch and then the beach. We are a turtle beach and the giants nest from May to Oct. My place is clean, cozy and comfortable. My guests joke that "if it isn't there, you don't need it."

The sea turtles lay eggs from June to August and the gestation period is about 55 days, so they are coming and going from June to October. Aside from turtles, watch for seagulls, parrots, cranes, egrets, sand pipers, pelicans, dolphins, geckos, fish and stop in at a restaurant called Crabby Bill's.
Gorgeous sunsets and porpoise sightings are FREE!

Indian Rocks Beach is located just 28 miles from the Tampa airport,on a 20 mile long barrier island between Clearwater Beach and St. Pete's Beach. There are: air port shuttles, bus lines and beach trolleys.
