You will have easy access in most weather conditions. The cabin is on a state-maintained road in a private community. Plus the driveway is level for snow and ice access, with overflow parking along the road. The cabin is situated high up (elevation over 3,000 feet), so you will have complete privacy along the rear of the cabin. Climb the hills outside...you are on three acres, explore! Take a stroll along the roads in the neighborhood. Visit the pond area and share a picnic. Walk down to the end of our road and hike the trails. Or just follow the path leading to the campfire pit for some outdoor star gazing. We actually chose this location because you feel so close to the sky - night views guaranteed! Location info: In Deep Gap, NC. 1/8 of a Mile off of the Blue Ridge Parkway, near Mile Marker 277, 10 Minutes to Boone, and a short distance to Blowing Rock, West Jefferson, Price Park, Appalachian State University, local ski slopes, Grandfather Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad, the zoo, Wilkseboro, and many great restaurants and shopping experiences!
