Activities and Nearby Attractions or Points of Interest:
1/2 hour drive around from the town of Patzcuaro around the Lake. Located on the edge of a traditional Purepecha village. In the area find small local restaurants,Pre-Hispanic ruins, crafts of copper, wood & ceramics - markets, colonial archetecture, 16th century churches, canoeing on Mexico'c butterfly net lake. It's off the beaten track but all within 1/2 hour drive to Patzcuaro for an espresso cafe, tourists, some music - no beach, bars or discos. 1 hour drive to the beautiful colonial city of Morelia.
