· Nearby (one block away) at the Beachview Golf and Tennis Club are fabulous hartru tennis courts and a championship golf course. You can also rent sailboats, kayaks and bikes on the island. Numerous other golf courses are available in nearby Fort Myers.
· Our unit is in building I (I207) at Sundial West. It is beautifully furnished and in immaculate condition with every convenience. This condo has a fully equipped kitchen where you can fix a picnic lunch or a gourmet meal. It has a cozy dining/living area, ample closet space, queen size bed and a very comfortable full queen size sleep sofa. All kitchen implements and appliances are furnished, as are linens, beach umbrella, beach toys and beach chairs. Everything you need is there, including free WIFI and free parking. Without question, the greatest attraction of Sanibel are its beaches. While other beaches may have better or more sand, higher dunes or other favored characteristics, there is something about the total tropical experience of walking the beach at Sanibel. The combination of magnificent views and a shoreline that brings a new population of shells with every tide is rivaled only by the grace and beauty of the pelicans and gulls in the sky. The dolphins playing in the surf produce a serenity and solitude that is unmatched anywhere.· If outdoor sports are your priority, enjoy the Dunes championship golf course or the course at Beachview Golf and Tennis Club as well as several championship courses nearby in Fort Myers. There are 22 miles of bike paths on Sanibel on which you can explore the Island. Parasailing, jet ski rentals are available nearby.
Deep sea fishing charters are available and bay and ocean fishing are also great on Sanibel! For the nature lover there is the Ding Darling Wildlife Sanctuary offering rare sightings of tropical birds, alligators and other wildlife. There are also The Sanibel Captiva Conservation Foundation, the Bailey Tract and Tarpon Bay, which have nature trails, mangrove canoe trails and other interesting exhibits. Other attractions include: Bailey-Matthews Shell Museum; Factory Outlet mall; Winter training home of the Minnesota Twins & Boston Red Sox; SunSplash Water Park, Captiva Cruises (see dolphins) There are a variety of unique dining establishments on the Island. Some additional facts about Sanibel-during the busiest tourist season, mid-December thru mid-April, when at peak times, the combined population of Sanibel and Captiva exceeds 15,000. Yet the miracle of Sanibel is that so much is left of what was here in the first place. Compared with the rest of Florida, it is truly a unique paradise, balancing recreation with maintenance of the island's natural environment.

Rates are weekly Sat. to Sat. and vary from $775/wk off- season (Aug. 1 29, 2009- October 4, 2009) to $1765/wk in season: February to Mid April In the off-season we are flexible and will consider renting mid-week to mid-week or by the day-with a 4 day minimum. There is also a one-time booking fee of $35.00. A 20% deposit is required to confirm your reservation. Note to rates below-Thanksgiving add $200.
