FOR YOUR INFOMATIONThe town of Alpine is located in eastern central Arizona in the Majestic White Mountains. The village of Alpine is located at the intersection of Highway 191 and Highway 180. Golf locally at the Alpine Country Club, a rustic 18 hole mountain golf course and end with a cocktail or dinner at the Country Club lounge or Mexican food restaurant. Golfers may also enjoy a round of golf at one of the 18 hole mountain golf courses just a little over one hour away. They are: Concho Valley Country Club, Pinetop Lakes Golf & Country Club, Show Low Country Club, Silver Creek Golf Club, Snowflake Municipal Golf Course, and Torrejon Country Club. Springerville and Eagar are just a short 25 minute drive for any conveniences that you city folk may want or need. Alpine is the home to many species of wildlife. It is not unusual to see herds of Elk, Deer and Antelope right off the main highways. In addition Raccoons, Squirrels , Wild Turkeys, Javalinas, Coyotes and numerous other animals enjoy their space with the incredible bird population. We even have many resident Bald Eagles, Canadian geese and several varieties of ducks. For that lazy day you may want to drive down the historic and picturesque Coronado Trail. It is on Highway 191 and continues past Hannagans Meadow to Morinci. Here you will see some of the most beautiful country on the planet. For those with the gambling bug we have HonDah Casino and gaming just a short distance away. You can take a historic walk through Casa Malpais ruins in Springerville and relax at one of too numerous to mention lakes, creeks or streams for some serious fishing. Anyway you want to spend your time on the mountain wether it is hiking, biking or horseback riding you will enjoy the laid back atmosphere and the friendly smiles/waves of all the people here who strive to make your visit memorable.
