They all share a large mosaic pool and all have spectacular ocean views. Each is unique with hand crafted furnishings, stone fireplaces, and private terraces set in a world of gardens, fountains and a dramatic oceanside Baja enviornment.A full gourmet breakfast is included with all rentals. Exceptional international Table D'Hote gourmet dinners are available for $75 per couple.

Baja Sur has a world famous climate that enables outdoor/indoor living year round. All of our accomodations have unobstructed ocean views and are a 2 minute walk down our private path to our private beach. The Casitas have private terraces and outdoor living spaces outfitted with comfortable chaise lounges, chairs and tables. Villa del Faro IS a writer's retreat, secluded romantic getaway, aquatic paradise, private garden enclave, artist's hideaway, and a culinary mecca.
It IS NOT about shopping, barhopping or golf.

Casa Palapa is a unique private villa built by artisans. It sits alongside a 50 x 50 foot mosaic tiled swimming pool with a large poolside terrace and features two large fountains. Custom made rugs, tiles and artifacts make this thatch roofed casa a Baja showplace. The bedroom features a romantic king sized canopy bed, with a fabulous ocean view. Off the bedroom is a half bath with wrap-around windows revealing the same remarkable view. The large living room has satellite TV, a large saltwater aquarium, comfortable stuffed furniture, an 11 foot dining table and can contain a single bed. The full kitchen includes pots, pans, plates, utensils, etc. A huge aqua tiled bathroom off the living area features a mosaic tiled sunken tub, walk-in shower and large vanity.
Rate: $525 per nite, (plus 13% local tax)
A full gourmet breakfast is included.Casita Tres has a main bedroom with a canopied queen bed, carved desk and chests and an anteroom that can contain a single bed. The rooms are separated by a moveable screen. There is a huge tiled bathroom with a walk-in shower. The Casita features a beautiful hearth (firewood included) and a large sliding glass door onto a porch with two rocking chairs. The 1,700 square foot open-air living room is covered by a huge round thatch palapa with outdoor lighting. A new addition to this Casita is a totally private sun-bathing terrace that also shields guests from the wind. Every space has a view of the ocean, and the Casita is a two minute walk down to the Summer House and the acres of private beach.
Rate: $375 a night, plus 13% local tax.
A full gourmet breakfast is included. Casita Dos has two separate suites with a common Sala - a covered open-air living room that contains a refrigerator and a hot plate. The Casita Dos North Suite has 480 square feet of enclosed space, including a queen bedroom with desk area, a half bath and an anterooom that can contain a single bed. The artisan acqua carved bed and faux bois columns are quite unusual. Firewood for your fireplace is included. The shower is private and outdoor, adjoining 575 square feet of private terraces overlooking the pool area and the ocean.
The Casita Dos South Suite has 600 square feet of space containing a beautiful carved queen bed with matching chests and cabinets, and a small anteroom that can contain a single bed. Firewood for your fireplace is included. The full bath has a walk-in tiled shower and a large vanity. Adjoining the suite is over 400 square feet of terrace - all of these areas overlooking the ocean.
Rate: $340 per nite each suite,(plus 13% tax)
A full gourmet breakfast is included. The Stone Beach Cottage is directly on the sand of our private beach, and affords an economical alternative for the more adventurous spirit. It has a fireplace and a queen sized bed, with an outdoor warm shower and solar powered light. The bathroom is an outdoor latrine a few steps away. The cottage is just below a large tiled circular Summer House with built in benches and solar lights, dining table and lounge furniture.
