Hale O Kahena sits at on the Oceanfront. The lanai which stretches the length of the house, overlooks the ocean and captures the nightly sunsets. This Hale (house) is decorated in the charm of Old Hawaii. It is located in a quiet peaceful area. The sounds of the Ocean are a perfect lullaby for reading, writing, "talking story" or sleeping.

Amenities:
The house has a fully equipped kitchen. Everything from pots, pans, utensils, spices, even a rice cooker, a waffle iron and a blender (for those pina colada's or mai tai's!). All linens are provided. Stereo w/ CD's to play (Hawaiian music included) and TV (available upon request). You will find board games and books for a leisurely Hawaiian afternoon.

The Big Island is the most diverse of all Islands. You can snow ski atop Mauna Kea in the morning and surf in the the afternoon. You will find horseback riding, hiking, swimming, surfing, snorkeling, site seeing, tours, shopping and the Hawaii's favorite pass time, Eating!
