Central to Kauai and ideal for couples, families and small groups, the home sleeps 2 to 7 and is fully equipped with snorkel gear, boogie boards, and lots more. Air conditioned bedrooms. Amenities:

Nice and cool - designed for the island trade winds, ceiling fans in all bedrooms and living room, covered parking at your front door, cable TV(2) and VCR(2), DVD, free local calls, and gas outdoor barbeque.

Activities and Nearby Attractions or Points of Interest:
Walk out the front door past 2 homes and you're at the ocean. Walk along the coast past 3 more homes and you're at Brennecke's Beach and the eastern end of Poipu Beach Park. You will find the following within a block of the house: 2 sandy beaches for snorkeling, swimming, fishing and body boarding, a grassy area for beach picnics and a fine Italian restaurant. Within 2 blocks: More beaches and bays, surf shop, deli and another good restaurant. Within a mile: Poipu Village Shopping Center, 2 Robert Trent Jones, Jr. designed golf courses (Kiahuna and the Poipu Bay Golf Course, home of the PGA Grand Slam of Golf), horseback riding, hiking, and 10 more restaurants.

Additional Information:
Poipu Beach is on the sunnier side of Kauai central to the island and is one of the best beaches on Kauai. In fact, Poipu was voted the best kid's beach in the state by readers of Hawaii Magazine. This is usually a great place for swimming and snorkeling. Brennecke's Beach is better known for body surfing.

Stays longer than 7 nights are pro-rated at the weekly rate. Add Hawaii state tax (11.42%) and cleaning fee ($125 or $160).

Policies
Minimum Stay: 3 nights. Longer stays are highly recommended

Reservations: Phone toll free 877-742-1778 or send an e-mail to inquire about available dates. Courtesy reservations can be held for 4 days by your phone or e-mail request.

Deposit: A $250 refundable security/damage deposit is required to confirm your reservations. Your deposit will be returned to you by mail or credited to your account within three weeks of departure, less extraordinary cleaning or damage exceeding normal wear, if any. Please phone or e-mail to confirm your reservation before mailing your deposit check.

Occupancy: Limited to confirmed guests. Not sure about who's all coming? No problem. Your confirmation can be updated any time. The 2 bedroom/2 bath configuration is ideal for groups of 2 to 4. The suite with the 3rd bedroom/3rd bathroom will be locked off but will never be rented to another party.

Payment: Payment is kindly requested 60 days prior to your arrival. Traveler's, personal and business checks preferred.

Cancellations: Must be in writing by fax or e-mail. Deposits and payments are fully refundable less a $50 cancellation fee if cancellation is made at least 60 days prior to your planned arrival. Cancellation notification of less than 60 days may result in forfeiture of the rent. There will be no forfeiture if I am able to re-rent to another party for the period affected by the cancellation. It may be worth checking out trip insurance.
